Enrol your child in our enriching school term care program, where learning and play come together in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The following policies and procedures apply to the operation of Kilkenny Kids before and after school care and holiday programme. (Please come into Kilkenny Kids to view the full policy and procedures)
Your Enrolment confirms that you understand and accept these policies and procedures and acknowledge that your child(ren) enter Kilkenny Kids at your own risk.
Although proper care will be exercised at all times, Kilkenny Kids cannot accept responsibility for misadventure.
Morning care: 7.30 am - 8.20 am
Daily Routine
To ensure a happy and safe environment for children attending Kilkenny Kids, the programme consists of structured and unstructured routines, which are supervised at all times.
3.00 pm – 3.30 pm
Children arrive at the school hall, put away school bags, and have refreshments. Roll is called and children have afternoon tea.

Homework
Playgrounds are open and children have the choice to go to the playground or stay inside. When Point View School changes to winter uniform children at afterschool care also need to wear jumpers/long sleeves and shoes when they go to the playground or are involved in activities outside. (Term 2 and Term 3)
Activities – baking, free play, drawing, arts and crafts, inside sports, dancing, and yoga.
PlayStation and X-box will only be available in wet weather.
4.00 pm (4.30 pm in Term 1 and Term 4)
Children can now go on their personal devices.
5.00 pm - 5.45 pm
Tidy-up and finishing activities.
Small group activities until children are collected by authorised person.
5.45 pm – Close
Pick Up
Kilkenny Kids is open until 5.45 pm daily. Children must be collected by this time.
A late pickup fee will apply if your child(ren) are in our care after 5.45 pm.
When a child(ren) has not been collected by 6.00 pm and staff have not been notified they will proceed to contact people on the enrolment form for someone to collect the child(ren).
At no time will a child(ren) be abandoned, however, the programme staff are authorised to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of the child(ren).
If no-one can be contacted, we have no other choice but to contact the police.
Late fees will be invoiced if collected after 5.45 pm.
